Patricio Galvez leaves his country and his comfort zone on a seemingly impossible mission to rescue his seven orphaned grandchildren, in Gorki Glaser-Müller's riveting Children of the Enemy.

Patricio's daughter married one of Sweden's most notorious ISIS terrorists and moved to Syria in 2014. Both were killed in 2019, leaving behind seven young children who were interned in the infamous al-Hol prison camp. When the Swedish authorities show little interest in freeing them, Patricio starts a one-man campaign to save their lives and bring them home.

Gorki Glaser-Müller travels with Patricio to neighbouring Iraq, where he must navigate embassies, politicians and the media circus around this inflamed issue, on a desperate, lonely and dogged struggle to get the young children to safety.
