With domestic violence on the rise and conservative groups gaining political influence, Zere risks everything to amplify women’s voices and expose the injustices that women face in her country.
In this intimate, verité-style film, Zere reflects on her experience of becoming an overnight viral sensation, causing her to receive death threats and make international headlines. Despite being labelled as an “Agent of the West”, she continues to rise as a voice of resistance, until the threats become too great.
