When Rob Moore invites two journalists to tell his story, the lines between intentions and consequences begin to blur.
For five years, former TV producer Rob poses as a filmmaker to gain the trust of anti-asbestos activists, whilst being paid to spy on them by the asbestos industry. When he is exposed as a cynical fraud, he claims to be a double agent, working alone to feed false information to the international asbestos mafia.
In a bid to launder his reputation and regain credibility, Rob lets two journalists begin work on a podcast about him, but as they delve deeper into the shady case, inconsistencies and ethical dilemmas cast doubt on Rob’s version of events. One twist leads to another in a gripping film about the delicate balance between good, evil, influence and control.
