When Ugandan brick-maker Isaac Nabwana decided to swap bricks for a film camera he attracts the attention of Alan Hofmanis, a film nerd from New York. Their joint passion for cinema propels Isaac's action movies to international acclaim.

Two unlikely friends from opposite sides of the world come together over a shared love of Chuck Norris and ’80s action flicks.

Ugandan brick-maker Isaac Nabwana decides to pick up a camera and create a DIY film studio, lovingly known as Wakaliwood. Alan, a film programmer from New York, gives up his life in America to join forces with Isaac after seeing a trailer for one of his films online.

With sheer determination and an outrageous sense of humour, they team up to catapult Wakaliwood and their gonzo action movies to international stardom, bringing laughter and joy to millions of people across the internet.
