When their High School plans a grand production of an originally written, time-travelling musical, the neurodiverse students dig deep to take on the challenge.
Chelsea, Elyse, Halle and Josh each have their own reasons for wanting to be in the cast, and each confront their own challenges as they work their way through auditions and rehearsals towards their big opening night. The musical travels through the decades with Australian pop icon John Farnham, but you don’t need to know of the Aussie idol to feel the infectious enthusiasm of staff and teens, or to connect with the challenges each of them face – from pre-show nerves to rehearsal burn-out.
