When renowned Chinese artist Maleonn learns that his father, the famed Peking Opera director Ma Ke, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, he knows that time is short.
In a last effort to bridge the gap between them, Maleonn begins a new theatre production, creating life-size mechanical puppets in a hauntingly beautiful play about time travel, memory and a father and son. As Ma Ke’s memory fades, Maleonn must come to terms with the father he was and the father he is losing, in this moving meditation on art, love and loss.
