Details
Veteran documentary filmmaker Pamela Yates comes face to face with the war being waged against immigrants in the US, and not just along the southern border. The border is not just a geographic location. The border is everywhere.
Borderland – The Line Within investigates the massive, militarised apparatus that has been built to capture, imprison and deport millions, exposing the ruthless profiteering that underlies it.
At the same time, this powerful and pertinent film weaves together the stories of migrants who are resisting and intent on building a movement for change in the shadow of this border industrial complex, recognising the human rights of all.
This special screening will be followed by a Q&A with Director Pamela Yates and Producer Paco de Onis.
