A unique look at the life of celebrated American author Patricia Highsmith, author of beloved novels such as The Talented Mr. Ripley, Strangers on a Train and The Price of Salt (later republished as Carol).

Based on Highsmith’s diaries, notebooks and the intimate reflections of her lovers, friends and family, this doc explores her forced double life as she hid her vibrant love affairs from her family and the public. Director Eva Vitija sheds new light on Highsmith’s life and writing, creating a vivid, touching portrait of one of the most fascinating female writers.
