Michael Graversen returns to his family home to find his father much changed.

Mr. Graversen has a new lease of life, and a renewed commitment to making a happy home with his wife. Mrs. Graversen is a little less sure. Since a rift in the family when Michael was a child, she’s learned to get along independently from her taciturn husband.

As the Graversens dig into the past and face up to the future – some more enthusiastically than others – will their adult son (and his film camera) help them to reconnect or are some relationship gulfs too wide to bridge?

Funny in all the right places without ever losing sincerity, Mr. Graversen is a film full of heart and courage, about the human potential for change and the challenges it entails.
