In the run up to the 2018 Russian Presidential election, filmmaker Alexandra Dalsbaek follows a group of young activists on the campaign trail for opposition candidate Alexei Navalny.
Inspired by Navalny, Milena, Kolya and their friends are tireless in their demonstrations, whether they run up against the multitude of everyday Putin supporters on the streets of Moscow, or find themselves being arrested time and again for their solo, peaceful protests.
Dalsbaek’s film is a fascinating and inspiring snapshot of Russian politics that’s rarely seen – the indefatigable youth who Navalny managed to reach and galvanise, before his poisoning and subsequent imprisonment.
