A fascinating documentary charting the rise to fame of Czech-born two-time Oscar-winning director Milos Forman – the man behind classics such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Hair and Amadeus.
Forman, who died last year, was born to Protestant parents – both murdered by the Nazis – but later in life discovered his biological father was in fact a Jewish architect living in Ecuador.
With rare archive footage and autobiographical notes narrated by the director’s son Petr Forman, Forman vs. Forman is a celebration of a truly remarkable talent, and life.
Presented by the UK Jewish Film Festival.
