Love and desire fill the minds of the inhabitants of a rural village in Transylvania. In Ágnes Sós' festival favourite Stream of Love the elderly men and women of the village speak frankly about sex, love and everything in-between.

Time may have stood still here for the village inhabitants but they remain refreshingly young at heart. At times funny, heart-warming and shocking, the women share their most intimate thoughts and dreams while Feri, the 80 something local heartthrob is still making moves on the villages twenty-five widows. Stream of Love proves that the ancient game of love and romance is still very much on the minds of these remarkably outspoken villagers.

A festival favourite around the world. Ágnes Sós’ 3 year commitment to the project produced amazing results. By building a trust with these rural women they speak candidly on sex, love and everything in between – from awkward wedding night tales to shocking discoveries of self-pleasure and even criminal confessions, Stream of Love is a film that is alive with irresistible characters. Proving that for these subjects anyway, age really is just a number.
