As a small Irish town prepares for Christmas, director Ken Wardrop (His & Hers) paints a compassionate portrait of five people who struggle with the stress and expectations of the 'most wonderful time of the year'.

Snow is falling all around, trees are going up and carol singers are rehearsing, but some members of the community feel even more keenly their isolation, grief and worries under the magnifying glass of the holiday season.

With great warmth and sensitivity, Wardrop portrays their courage and their vulnerability, creating a different kind of holiday movie – insightful, rewarding, and teeming with Irish humour and a lot of heart.
