One World Media and ITV are coming together for an evening of screenings, followed by a Q&A with Rageh Omaar, Ria Chatterjee and Natalie Hill (Executive Producer). On Assignment: Unpacked will screen a selection of short documentaries from the series, including Back in the Saddle: Horse Racing in Mali returns to the track, a hopeful story of how the sport is helping the country recover after Covid-imposed lockdowns. The guests will go behind the scenes of these documentaries to discuss how the stories were found and selected, the impact this work has had, managing practical concerns of an overseas shoot and working with local talent. There will be networking drinks at the bar afterwards.
