London Migration Film Festival and Bertha DocHouse present: The Wolves Always Come at Night – Q&AAfter a devastating storm destroys their livelihood in rural Mongolia, a young couple make the painful decision to uproot their family and move to the city.
Davaa and Zaya (co-writers of the film) live with their children and flock in the Bayankhongor region of Mongolia. But the titular wolf is never far from the door; the climate is changing, which forces the family into an urban centre and a new way of life.
Blending documentary and fiction, this stunningly crafted hybrid paints a deeply affecting portrait of Mongolian life, and the rupture of climate migration.
