A Syrian woman goes undercover online to track down a war criminal, creating a fake profile and befriending the man she believes responsible for a massacre during the Syrian civil war.

Annsar Shahhoud is far away from Assad’s regime, living in Amsterdam, when she receives shocking video footage of the killing of civilians in the Damascus suburb of Tadamon, carried out by an unknown, but visible, army officer. Haunted by the video, Annsar traces the perpetrator through social media and – posing as ‘Anna’ – lures him into a series of revealing video calls.

This gripping psychological thriller explores the drive to reveal the agents of one of the world’s most brutal regimes, at just the critical moment when their capture and trial finally become possible.
