A box office hit in Italy, Food For Profit is the first feature documentary that exposes the links between the meat industry, lobbying and the corridors of power.

A five-year investigation into intensive farms, which mistreat animals, pollute the environment and pose a potential danger for future pandemics, while being fuelled by hundreds of billions of taxpayers’ money. Giulia Innocenzi and Pablo D’Ambrosi take us on a journey across Europe where they confront farmers, corporations and politicians.

Followed by a panel discussion with co-director Pablo D’Ambrosi, Klaus Mitchell, founder and CEO of Plant Based News, and Philip Lymbery, Global CEO of Compassion in World Farming. Moderated by Caroline Burgess-Pike.

Content warning: this film depicts animal cruelty, contains scenes of animal abuse, violence, graphic imagery.
