When Rania's newborn babies are evacuated from a hospital in northern Gaza to safety in the south, her family is suddenly torn apart - separated by a travel ban, military checkpoints and the turmoil of war.
What follows is an intimate dual portrait, following their parallel lives over sixteen months, and capturing Rania’s extraordinary resilience.
From the bombed-out streets of northern Gaza to the overcrowded tents of the south, and from makeshift shelters to the shattered city, this deeply-felt film traces the journey of a family separated and a mother fighting to be reunited with her children.
