Meet Szani, Tina and Emese, three young women in their early twenties, who have found each other at a 'second chance high school' in Budapest, struggling to complete their studies and build their adult lives.
The trio may be nicknamed Divas, but they are far from ‘Mean Girls’. As first-time director Máté Kőrösi gets to know these complex, troubled, vibrant individuals, he discovers the loyalty that bonds them together, and the personal bravery that carries them through life’s trials. Over time, the relationship and trust between Kőrösi and the Divas develops, and the story takes us in unexpected directions, making for an utterly captivating film about three unforgettable friends. Don’t miss the parallel programme: Brotherhood.
