Posing as a philanthropic donor, a mourning relative or a Jesuit priest, he has given away hundreds of works to a staggering list of institutions across the United States. But after duping Matthew Leininger, Landis meets his match. Equally obsessed, Leininger sets out to expose Landis and his forgeries to the world.
