Deep in a forest by the Baltic Sea, a group of Ukrainian children who had been abducted by the Russian army and rescued by their family members come together at an animal therapy retreat.

With the help of golden retrievers, palomino horses and the retreat’s skilled and sensitive counsellors, they are given the chance to start the healing process.

This tender, cinematic film follows the children and their families as they begin to process, surrounded by nature, care and support.

The screening on Monday the 16th of December was followed by a panel discussion with director and producer Sarah McCarthy, protagonist Inna Sidoruk, Inna Yehorova from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and executive producer Maria Logan. Hosted by Lord Jack McConnell.
