In his thoughtful new documentary, the director Mark Cousins (Women Make Film, The Story of Film) takes the legendary Oscar-winning producer Jeremy Thomas (The Last Emperor, The Dreamers) as his subject, accompanying Thomas on his annual road trip to the Cannes Film Festival. Over the course of their leisurely journey through the French countryside, the pair discuss the groundbreaking producer’s long-time collaborators, his preference for passionate cinema and much more.

The Bertha DocHouse screen is currently operating at 80% of its seating capacity. That means you will never be in a screening where every seat is occupied, and if, after the film has begun, you would be more comfortable in another unoccupied seat, you are welcome to move. We appreciate you being considerate of your fellow audience members and masks are encouraged. Happy viewing!
