Scotty Bowers wrote a best-selling memoir about providing gay sex services to Hollywood stars from the gas station he worked at in the late 1940s. This film follows a man keen to share his sexcapades, regardless of the implications.

Scotty Bowers was a busy man in his youth. Working at a gas station in Hollywood that brought him in close proximity with the stars, Bowers found he could offer other services that were more profitable and risqué.

With a group of young handsome studs, Bowers offered gay hook-ups for Hollywood stars who had to put on a straight front post-production code moral panic of the 1930s. Having just written a salacious tell-all book, Bowers goes to book signings and receives both positive responses and criticism, while journalists and researchers give context to the cultural climate and historical attitudes around sexuality in Hollywood.

Meanwhile Bowers meets with his old hustler buddies, who reminisce about their sexual escapades and tell graphic stories about the sexual quirks of others.
