Skyclimber follows 24-year-old urban free solo climber Adam Lockwood as he attempts to scale the Eiffel Tower without ropes or safety equipment, in a film that is equal parts high-altitude adventure and moving personal portrait.
Filmmaker Nick Hardie follows Adam’s journey from a turbulent childhood in Wigan through periods of homelessness and prison, to becoming one of the world’s most revered urban climbers and one of the global free solo community’s youngest stars.
Tackling the Eiffel Tower will take all of Adam’s determination and months of planning and training, as he maps every step of the audacious ascent. Running along side adrenalin-filled journey and sequences of Adam’s exhilarating climbs, is the story of a young man taking in neurodivergence, loss and the weight of men’s mental health.
