In Nikola’s village, agricultural life is getting harder, with harsh economic policies making it almost impossible to earn a living off the land. When his family leave in search of better prospects abroad, Nikola takes a job at a huge landfill site, where he encounters the white stork, Silyan.
Poignant and visually arresting, this deeply moving film touches on climate change, economic migration and the quiet power of connection, as Nikola nurses Silyan back to health.
