A warm and generous portrait of a Welsh male voice choir with an average age of 74.
Men Who Sing begins when filmmaker Dylan Williams returns to his home town in North East Wales to find his nearly-90-year old father, Ed, preparing to pack up and sell the family home. Widower Ed’s one solace is Tuesday evening practice with his male voice choir, but with an average age of 74 the choir is facing its own existential crisis.
As brim-full of compassion and humour as the choir members themselves, Men Who Sing is a generous portrait of comradeship, following Ed, Merf, Gwyn and co as the choir prepare to compete for the first time in twenty years.
