Mitch – The Diary of a Schizophrenic Patient

An autobiographical portrait of a 40-year-old artist living with schizophrenia, who under the guidance of co-director Damir Čučić undergoes several years of “film therapy”.

For two years Mitch filmed constantly, recording the daily life within the psychiatric hospital where he lives. This is a journey into his world, and a journey into the margins of a country caught up in the traumatic aftermath of recent history.
