Chinese Visual Festival at Bertha DocHouse!

This year we will be proudly hosting a number of documentary screenings as part of Chinese Visual Festival, which runs from 7th - 22nd May 2015. 

COTTON - Acclaimed Chine Documentary Director Zhou Hao's latest film continues his exploration of China's most urgent social issues by documenting the lives and experiences of the unseen work force behind China's cotton trade.

FISH STORY - Wong Siu-pong's documentary explores what it's like growing up in an adult world through the eyes of a group of children, focusing on the experiences of the poor  and marginalised in Hong Kong.

MOUNTAIN SPIRITS - This documentary focuses on Wang Wen-chih, a Taiwanese artist known for large scale installation pieces made from natural materials such as bamboo, ratten and wood.
