A panel of world-class women documentary directors come together online to talk about their BAFTA long-listed films, making it in non-fiction and launching a doc in the midst of a pandemic.

Bonni Cohen (Athlete A), Nadia Hallgren (Becoming), Kirsten Johnson (Dick Johnson is Dead), Nicole Newnham (Crip Camp) and Pippa Ehrlich (My Octopus Teacher) have all directed or co-directed Netflix films on the documentary long-list for the 2021 BAFTAs.

Join us to hear about the making of some very different, but utterly compelling films, and while we're still a considerable way off gender parity in doc-directing, to talk about the challenges for women in the industry.

This event is AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE. To watch the live event, tune in at 6pm (GMT) on Monday 22rd February. If you're unable to make that time, a recorded version will be available until 12pm (GMT) on Wednesday 24th February.
