Follow one of the most intriguing economic developments of our time: the story of Zambia, and its rapidly expanding trade relationship with China. Through three characters, the expanding footprint of a rising global power is laid bare: a Zambian trade minister heads to Beijing for investment, a Chinese entrepreneur has just bought his fourth farm, and a manager for a Chinese multinational upgrades Zambia's longest road. As business booms the film asks if Africa has exchanged one coloniser for the next.
Followed by a Q&A with director Marc Francis.
