Asif Kapadia is renowned for both his fiction and documentary work. His most documentaries, Senna (2010) and Amy (2015), have won wide acclaim, with Senna winning multiple awards including BAFTAs for Best Documentary and Best Editing and the World Cinema Audience Award Documentary at Sundance in 2011. His other credits include The Sheep Thief (1997), The Warrior (2001) and Far North (2007).
