GOT A GREAT IDEA FOR A SHORT DOCUMENTARY WHICH WILL ATTRACT LARGE AND ENGAGED ONLINE AUDIENCES? 

Sheffield Doc/Fest will host The Guardian's first ever public pitch opportunity for a commission worth £5000.

Guardian Documentaries are bringing the best short documentaries to its' global website and they want your pitches - documentary ideas, which display brilliant storytelling, are told with energy and pace, and are telling contemporary stories which lots of people will want to watch and share online.

Five documentaries will be picked to pitch at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2015 to a panel of The Guardian's commissioning team and international documentary experts. At least one film, and maybe more than one, will win a commission worth £5000.
