Nick Broomfield: AILEEN - LIFE AND DEATH OF A SERIAL KILLER + Q&A

+ Q&A with Nick Broomfield
Dir: Nick Broomfield
United Kingdom / United States / 2003 / 93mins

"Terrific. It's an extraordinary document: astonishing, tragic, gutting, and terribly funny in the most ghastly way" - The Times

Broomfield’s second film with America's first female serial killer, Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer returns to the story of Aileen Wuornos, the highway prostitute convicted of killing six men in Florida between 1989 and 1990.

Interviewing an increasingly mentally unstable Wuornos, Broomfield captures the distorted mind of a murderer whom the state of Florida deems of sound mind – and therefore fit to execute.

We're delighted to welcome Nick Broomfield for a Q&A following the screening.
