DocHouse First: LOST IN LEBANON + Q&A

Dir: Sophia Scott & Georgia Scott
United Kingdom / 2016 / 80mins

As the Syrian war continues to leave entire generations without education, health care or a state, Lost in Lebanon closely follows four Syrians as they attempt to rebuild their lives in Lebanon. With the Syrian conflict continuing to push across borders, lives are becoming increasingly desperate due to the devastating consequences of new visa laws implemented by the Lebanese government, leaving families at risk of arrest, detention and deportation.

With intimate access to the lives of the individuals behind the news reports, the film asks what is next for the 12 million people displaced from Syria?

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the directors Georgia and Sophia Scott, further speakers tbc. Further screenings of the film will take place from Saturday 20 May.
