FRESH EYES ON THE WORLD

Dir: Multiple
United Kingdom / 2015 / 120mins

One World Media presents Fresh Eyes on the World – a screening of short films by emerging filmmakers

Change is the common theme at this mini-festival showcasing new work from One World Media’s 2015 bursary winners. Fresh looks at stories from around the world take centre stage: marathon runners in Palestine, gender struggles in Tanzania and India, compulsory relocation in China, and moving from forest sport to national team in Brazil. There are opportunities to meet and talk with the filmmakers on the day.

The films in the programme are:

Little Garden – Directed by Chao Jiang
A Running Occupation – Directed by Joe Sartorius and Lina Caicedo
Hijra’s Hustle – Directed by Almass Badat
Olympic Dream – Directed by Ruth Wright
Being Unbound – Directed by Anna Wistreich

Presented in partnership with One World Media
